FALCON XL HELIPOD

PLUG 'N PLAY METHANE DETECTION FOR ROBINSON HELICOPTERS

Introducing the Falcon XL aerial methane detector for helicopters: a simple, easy-to-use methane detection system adapted from our fixed-wing solution to be compatible with rotary wing aircraft. The Falcon XL was built to drastically lower the cost of leak surveys for pipeline owners. This system operating on Robinson helicopters allows operators to fly closer to the pipeline increasing the probability of detection.  The Falcon XL helipod can be used as part of a pipeline integrity management program for finding methane gas leaks on smaller distribution pipelines with many curves and bends.

A Class 1 laser has an output energy of few microwatts and is considered safe based on current medical knowledge. This class includes all lasers or laser systems that cannot emit levels of optical radiation above the exposure limits for the eye. Class 1 lasers are very low risk and safe under reasonably foreseeable use, including the use of optical instruments for intrabeam viewing and even in cases of prolonged contact with the eyes.
